Well it has been a couple of weeks, and yes, there is still no proper site. What can I say? Distractions, graphics issues, and copyright problems, they all add up to time. Lots of time. However, there is good news. I have a plan, and a back up plan, and a second back up plan for if the first one fails. The site will be up, and it will be well worth the wait once it is.

Writing, on the other hand, is going very well. I am working away on book four and constantly being surprised at the turns it is taking. My chapter plan keeps changing with each passing chapter, and the characters are having a field day. Of course everything is not smooth sailing for them, but it wouldn't be something written by me if it were. As many twists and turns are in the first three books, there are just as many in the fourth one.

Whilst all this is going on, the next book in the series has been refining itself in my mind. Poppy should prove an interesting character to get inside, and I am looking forward to her point of view on the world. Safe to say that it will be very different, and much darker.

Now, the publishing of book one. Four rejection letters in, and I am still going strong. It is just a case of finding someone who is passionate about the story I have written. Of course, I am also going over book one again, line by line, with fresh eyes and making sure that I haven't missed anything.

Right, now for some good reads and some reads to look out for. I think the most anticipated book for me at the moment is J.R Ward's Lover Mine. It is out in the US already, and will be out in the UK soon enough. It is the next in J.R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and I will be hibernating for a day or so when it arrives.

Another book that I am eagerly awaiting is the new Charlaine Harris novel. There are a couple of months before that comes out, and, again, I shall disappear for a while when that comes out.

One book I have recently reread is The Lake, by Richard Laymon. It is a fantastic story spanning twenty years. With plenty of doom and gloom, complicated storylines interlacing with each other, and even a little romance, it is absolutely worth a read. Of course, I am a huge fan of Richard Laymon, and anything he has written is worth reading.

So, keep an eye out for the site, it will be up, and have a read of those books.

Also, don't forget to check out the eBook Benefit from my last post. Any and all support is appreciated.

As you may have noticed in previous blogs, I've been mentioning this eBook Benefit thing. The reason for that is that I have been working on a piece for said eBook.

The eBook is being compiled by a friend of mine on Twitter and is being put together for a very good cause.

It's simple really, donate an amount, any amount to any of the charities on the eBook Benefit list send your receipt to the e-mail address and to say thank you, you will receive a copy of the eBook.

There are twenty-five authors, including myself, who are donating their time and work to this cause, and there is sure to be a variety of work to suit everyone.

The piece that I chose to do is a short piece called Going Home.

Louise is one of the Fae, but she has been living in the human world for almost a decade, protecting the secluded entrance to her world. One summer's day, she receives an unexpected visitor, and exciting news. Louise must return home early to celebrate the birth of her niece. It is a light-hearted piece celebrating her return and the newest addition to her winged family.

You can follow the eBook benefit Twitter page for updates on what is happening, as well as checking out the blog for details of who is donating their time and work.

So, if you would like to read the short story I've written or any of the others, just follow the details above and help us to raise money for some wonderful causes.

Well, it is now April third and through one thing and another the site isn't quite ready.

The first problem is the pictures. They look fantastic, but they don't work with the site design. It's all complicated stuff to do with the format, but the long and short of it is that I've had to start from scratch, which has taken a while.

Another thing that is causing a delay would be Script Frenzy. That's the site. It is lots of fun, but another cause of delays as both my wonderful web designing friend and myself are tapping away at the keys to have a go at that. I highly recommend having a go at it. There are some very crazy people on the site, myself possibly being one of them.

So, the site shall be up, as soon as the pictures and everything else are finished, but it will be a few more days yet.

On another note. My piece for the Benefit eBook has been sent off. You can check out the details here

You can also check out my twitter account for mini updates.
